Brightside Integrated Health is here to help

Brian MacAulay of Brightside Integrated Health
After working as a front-line social worker for over 20 years and a clinical social worker for 13 years, Brian MacAulay conceptualized a clinic that recognized the mind-body-spirit connection and where counselling therapists and practitioners of complementary modalities could work collaboratively to address their clients’ mental and physical health, holistically rather than compartmentally.
In June 2023, Brightside Integrated Health was born and our team of professional and compassionate therapists and practitioners are ready to support you through change and personal growth. Our clinic is warm and inviting, with soothing colours, comfortable furnishings and a relaxed atmosphere. You may even meet Crispin, our Goldendoodle and clinic mascot.
Brightside’s team boasts a diverse set of experiences, skills and areas of specialty. You are invited to browse our biographies to find the right clinician for your unique concerns, needs and personal health goals.
Brightside therapists work with adults, youth, couples, first responders and military personnel. They can help with a wide variety of issues, including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, abuse, domestic violence, trauma and post-traumatic stress, relationship issues, grief and loss, managing injuries/physical disabilities/chronic pain, bullying, life stage transitions, emotional regulation, parenting support, and school/career related stress and burnout.
Each therapist has their preferred methods of therapy and these are tailored to each client’s needs and preferences.
Brightside’s Naturopathic Doctors, Massage Therapist and Holistic Nutritional Consultant are able to support their clients’ mental health as well as physical health, both as a compliment to therapy, or as stand alone services.
