Alicia obtained her Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a social work candidate, registered with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers.
Alicia also has a Master of Education degree from the University of Calgary and worked for 15+ years in the public education system. She brings with her a rich educational experience that focuses on being person-directed, building capacity, and empowering advocacy.
Alicia’s areas of focus include: anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, trauma, abuse, and managing life transitions.
Alicia uses a holistic approach to support the mental health and well-being of children, adolescents, and adults. She recognizes that everyone has unique lived experiences and that following their lead is key to developing a strong therapeutic rapport.
