Cancellation Policy
Clients who miss appointments, or cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment are subject to being charged the full session fee.
Inclement Weather Policy
Our Inclement Weather Policy prioritizes the safety of our staff, practitioners and clients.
If your therapist feels that it is unsafe to come into the clinic, they, or an office administrator will contact you via phone or email. You will be offered the option to switch to a virtual session, or to reschedule your appointment.
If you have not been contacted and the weather is questionable, we recommend that you reach out to confirm your appointment.
If you feel it is unsafe to come into the clinic, or if a school cancellation has caused unexpected childcare or privacy issues, please contact our office administrator at 902-444-1015 or [email protected].
This will allow your therapist to adapt their schedule to your needs, whether that means sending you a link for a virtual appointment, staying home, coming in later, leaving early, or offering the appointment time to someone else.
Taking these steps to make contact and form an alternate plan if needed, will ensure that you will not be charged a cancellation fee, should you need to cancel.
In contrast, if you do not show up (physically or virtually) without making contact, we will ask you to pay for your session time as booked.
