Kate Zsiros

Kate Zsiros completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Her professional background involves supporting individuals through counselling and community-based work in non-profit, wellness, and education settings. Kate also brings experience as a yoga teacher and facilitator, often drawing from her knowledge of holistic health and the mind-body connection.

Kate works with adults, couples, and adolescents (ages 12 and up), offering both in-person and virtual sessions. Her areas of focus include: anxiety, life transitions, emotional regulation, depression, shame/self-worth, family dynamics, stress, relationship issues, boundary setting, and grief. 

Her approach to therapy is warm and highly-collaborative, drawing from modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). She believes in the importance of an integrated approach, tailoring each session to meet the needs of the individual.
