His — Ryan Moult’s — areas of focus include: anger, anxiety, boundaries, depression, emotional regulation, life stage transitions, men’s issues, personal growth, relationship issues, self esteem, sexual issues, shame, stress, and suicidal ideation.
Ryan’s approach is person-centered and he takes the stance that the client is the expert of their own life. He is gentle, soft spoken, and curious, as he allows his clients to set the pace of therapy; while also challenging them to explore limiting beliefs and to let go of what is holding them back from living the life that would mean the most to them. Ryan aims to help clients understand, respect, and accept themselves better.
Therapy sessions typically involve a one-on-one conversation between the therapist and the client, but can also involve couples, families, or groups. During these sessions, the therapist will listen to the client, ask questions, and provide key guidance and support. Our therapists use a variety of techniques and approaches best suited to their clients.
Counselling is a highly collaborative process, where both the therapist and the client work together to set goals, develop a treatment plan, and evaluate progress.
