Agnieszka is a registered counselling therapist with over 7 years of experience working in the mental health field.
Agnieszka’s professional experience includes working with adults in inpatient and outpatient treatment settings, focusing on co-occurring mental health disorders and trauma, as well as managing clinical teams and supervising counselling students. Along with her private practice work, she currently works with university students at the Saint Mary’s University counselling centre.
Agnieszka works with adults, first responders and military personnel.
Her areas of focus include: anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, abuse and relationship issues.
Agnieszka’s has a person-centred approach when working with clients with an emphasis on the importance of strengthening one’s self-identity, self-worth and self-compassion. Agnieszka helps clients explore unhealthy coping patterns, understand how past traumas impact their core beliefs and build a mindful and self-compassionate understanding of self.
